I am going to have a new conversion for my bike.
I am planning to add a wattage meter. I remember there were cycle analyst and battmeter long time ago. I am not sure if those are still the meter of choice. However, I am looking for a cheaper solution. I just need to see the consumed Ah and reset it each time after I charge.
What would be the best option and cheapest option out there now?
I see there are some dc hall sensing DC VA sensing meter now. Anyone has experience with those?

An RC Watt Meter off of eBay is the cheapest. I wouldn't run high amperage through it though. If you are running 30 amps or higher, I would get one with a shunt and run your current through a shunt. As for a Cycle Analyst, it is still the gold standard.

:D :bolt:

I used one of these before switching over to the cycle analyst. It retained the watt hours until reset, where some meters reset themselves when they are powered off.

You really need one on your charging station, if you want to keep it simple. I never had any use for one on the bike.
