I was just browsing around looking at chargers for a new project and ran across this little guy:

It seems too good to be true, especially for the price. Has anyone tried one of these before? Does it last? Does it hold the voltage setting well or is this a disaster waiting to happen?

even bigger claims, 0-120V 25A 3000w

Some of the other options look like modified Mean Well power supplies. I know it's easy to change the ending voltage by adjusting one of the existing potentiometers, but where do you tap in, in order to adjust the charge current??

I ordered one. Will see how it goes.

RC lipo users are commonly charging with variable power supply units. Meanwell PSU’s can be assembled, series and parallel, to achieve the charging voltage and power that we need, and they have a pretty large voltage adjustability. Lab PSU’s, the like of Mastek, can be adjusted very precisely, volts and Amps. The Chinese suppliers had been manufacturing copies of those for a long time, at very low cost. But, they don’t have the safety and reliability of the originals.
