Cool looking PAS unit

Hi guys
Anyone using this type of PAS?
Have never used this type before.
32 magnet type..3 wires

I use a 12 magnet version because it came on a purchased ebike. I bought one for use on a recent conversion, but I didn't have enough space on either side of the BB. I tried sanding off 2 mm of plastic, but still it would bind.
