I stumbled across this bike, I'm looking for a dirt bike like ebike but I thought the 96volts was high compared to other options on the market but at 3000 watts for the motor thats low. Just seems so odd.

Your taking a big risk buying that bike unless someone has personal experience, aliexpress is a gamble with some sellers as that platform is favored in the sellers favor unlike ebay.

Have you looked at Sur Ron?

Free shipping by train. No tracking once it's on the train. A delivery window that's probably just past the point that AliExpress hands over your money to them leaving you with no recourse when nothing arrives.

Seems legit.

I'd definitely look at Sur-Ron before considering that big unknown. I like how they call it a mountain bike.

It seems like an excellent way to send at least $8000 directly to China. Beyond that, it's anybody's guess.

The other option is that the op might be a disguised "interested-in" post that's really an advertisement.

Basically the account was opened 1yr and 1 month ago, account put in hibernation and first post ever today. Its interesting, might be wise to look into the account log-in history. I say that only because it would be interesting if there were two log-ins, 1st log-in 1y1m ago and 2nd log-in 1y1m later on June 1st (yesterday). Would be interesting even more if there were more then 12 log-ins say log-in once a month or 100+ log-ins.

Either way, the conclusions on the matter as stated from other ES members are accurate, on every post.

HIMO EBIKE Store has no Aliexpress rating at all. I see some other stores with a colored star rating.
Seems odd that most of the reviews came from one item purchased - New 20inch electric bicycle fat tir...
and from that 227 only 12 are from different items, yet 4 people complained negatively in the past 6 months.
"Top brands" are a minimum, yet HIMO doesnt even have that.

I don't know if it's just me but it looks really small, and in the one picture with what looks like a girl riding it she looks like a 14/ 15year old.

The biggest risk is that it is new. If you pay with a credit card that has online purchase protection, you will be refunded if you don’t receive it as advertised. If the seller won’t accept it, forget it.

120kmh can’t be compared with a Sur-Ron. It is a different animal. Yet it does look small. I would discuss with the seller the specs and geometry details before ordering one.
