Hi. Has anyone used the 36V 350W Yose Power kit (Lishui controller) with a 48V battery? Because a 48V battery would be cheaper and sooner to arrive. I understand the disadvantages (higher top speed, SoC indicator always at 100%).

Either way, if no one responds and I proceed with a 48V battery, I will report back on whether it worked or not. I will open the controller first to see if the parts are rated above 55V. That of course doesn't mean the controller won't refuse to work because of some imposed protection/limitation.

I should receive the kit and the battery in around 7 days.

need a new charger

ideally an adjustable one like Satiator

their #4808 "24V-52V" output range 24-63V @8A (manual states 12-63V)

Received the kit. You can't use it with a 48V battery. The capacitors are rated for 50V.
