What cable and connector are you using, when having the battery in backpack?

Thank you all.

Hey, I just did a quick forum search for you (search term "backpack cable") and found these:

Among others.

In case you don't get any other help.

Actually, you can easily search the forum and find much more info on this subject. :thumb:

I have seacrhed round, but not found many good examples of type of cabels etc on these forum, maybe I`m just a bad searher :)

I found these to be usefull for me:

I just use some cable with enough slack to get on/off. Definitely looking at changing to a coiled cable though. Either way if I go flying off, if the xt60 doesn't pop off, the solder on it probably will.

I don't think there can be any other answer than "the cable that fits your battery connector". Depending what connector that is, you might have to buy plugs and a length of wire and make it up yourself.

Me, I'd use Anderson PP45 connectors and gang up as many as necessary to carry the current. That way they'll break away non-damagingly in the event of a cable pull. SB50 is a good connector, but it can take a serious amount of tension to unplug. 14ga zip cord to each pair, not more than 35A per pair.

Also I wouldn't carry a battery on my back if I could carry it on the bike.
