Seems like a pretty solid kit. For $500 you get a hub motor kit and battery with integrated controller.

https://yosepowershop.com/collections/e-bike-kit/products/e-bike-conversion-kit-48v-500w-26-rear-motor-fit-for-freewheel-with-48v13ah-down-tube-lithium-ion-battery-and-charger

They even send you the tools to swap out your cassette.

Anybody try installing one of their kits?

If not, maybe any experience with their hub motor from Aikema or AKM? I think the kit has this one, https://www.aikema.com.cn/en/product/product-54-377.html

Looks good sounds good what's the exact battery cell they use and tell him don't say proprietary because that just means cheap Chinese clone cells. And say that went you talk to them

Their batteries are hokey and unreliable. If you want a hokey and unreliable motor kit, proceed.

Me, I'd buy a Jump bike motor and a KT controller and a Battery Hookup pack and assemble my own kit.

I put this kit onto my old Raleigh racing bike. I've had it about a year now and have had no problems with the battery or controller. The range is pretty good and there has been no noticeable degradation from new.

I did have a problem with the display, which I opened up and discovered was a poorly soldered joint, it now works fine.

These kits are cheap and build quality is variable, also the controller is not repairable because it has been covered in a potting compound. If this fails then I will have difficulty replacing it because it cannot be purchased separately.

While I am happy overall with the Yose Power Kit, I will probably put my own kit together on the next conversion so that I can be in control of the individual elements.
