Is it a good idea?

I heard the leather suppose to conform to the buttox
Would that shape change with me riding it?

Its B67 and nothing looks out of place.
Ad says $225 or $250 new, asking half.
I am 280lbs

That's a good choice of model for someone your size.

I would buy new if I were in the market for a leather saddle. That said, my ex-wife's favorite saddle is the Brooks Flyer S that I got for her in "used good condition" on eBay almost twenty years ago. I have some over 20 year old Brooks saddles of my own, but you have to keep them that long before they become a good value for the cost. I think I paid $130 each in the late '90s, for B90/3.

Anymore, I find that I can get inexpensive plastic saddles that I think are more comfortable overall. If you have more than one bike, maybe get a B67 and a Cloud 9 Metroline Airflow, and see which you prefer. You can always tell somebody you paid $250 for your Brooks, and get your money back.
