the link may not be valid any longer but it is " https://jag35.com/collections/lithium-batteries/products/12v-a123-nec-alm12v7-ups-battery-modules " as of 6/12/22 . When you click purchase it leads to an entirely different product at batteryclearinghouse.com " https://www.batteryclearinghouse.com/products/48-cells-used-a123-anr26659m1b-lifep04-3-3v-2500mah-in-an-emc-pack?variant=39585843839054 ".

The corresponding video is two years old. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcBXMpk1SwU

Has anyone purchased from batteryclearinghouse recently? I have looked at the other posts so far.

I've never bought from Jag35; BCH I probably wouldn't buy from again because they just throw stuff in a box and let it bounce around to get broken in shipping (and they don't respond to you anymore after you pay them, even if you are trying to buy more stuff).

FWIW, the Jag35 page specifically says this:
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY.
This listing links to a 3rd party affiliate.

Buuuut:

The BCH link appears to be a completely different "end product" than the Jag35 link, and is a different price. I'll assume the different A123 cell p/n is a typo, but the amount of cells and the product they are from is not the same.

BCH:
A123 ANR26659M1B LiFeP04 3.3v 2500mAh in a Server Pack
BATTERY CLEARING HOUSE
Lot Size: 144 Cells (3 packs)
Price:
$115
This listing is for Used A123 ANR26659M1B LiFeP04 3.3v 2500mAh Rechargeable Batteries in an Server Pack.

The cells are attached to server boards as a pack, the pack is no longer usable but the cells are in good condition. There are 48 cells in 12s4p configuration to make a 39.6v pack. A nice bonus to these packs is the fact that each pack is bound by reusable 26650 spacers on both sides.

These are for cell recovery only!

Jag35
12V A123 NEC ALM12V7 UPS BATTERY MODULES 4-PACK
SALE $48.00 Regular price$300.00

These are 4-packs of 12v 5Ah LiFePO4 lithium iron phosphate A123 battery packs from UPS units. They were removed from working equipment with very low cycles. LiFePO4 is great for harvesting cells due to their long cycle life. These A123 cells in particular are very popular among DIY because they are power cells capable of delivering up 70A. Each module contains x8 A123 ANR26650M1B cells in a 4s2p configuration. Each battery module also contains a BMS circuit.

Great for harvesting cells because they don't have glue and come apart easily.

Buy with confidence from BCH, those A123 cells rock, I have a bunch, never used them though, if BCH stuff gets you damages take pics and drop them an email,

their shipping has improved a bunch, I have bought over a dozen times from them, the sheer volume of biodeg chips in the boxes overwhelmed me first. lol.

Just make sure that the tabs are not laser welder. A lot of times they'll cut the ceils out of a path in the calves are too short and they try to laserweld some more tabs on and this is a terrible practice

Yea. I bought from Battery Clearing House as well but bought some other cells they no longer have. They are still working after a couple years and at least 500 cycles.

I might buy the A123 cells next.

...and the reason to be using them? Max 10 Sec Discharge Current 500A

Jag is the worst seller out there.

Lies. .... he sells lies, then says " You should have read the fine print"... when you ask for a refund.

...he lies about everything he sells. Even in the YT vids.. he will say when he "tests" one of his cells... " this cell is not 60C... . then proceed to sell them as " 60C" cells on his website.

...he says... "these come from a Ford Mach E".. then he says.. "They are Grade B" and " Only some lost capacity.. ".. Lol selling flood car wrinkly batteries...

Like Ford uses a grade B cell.... lolololololo....

100% lies for sales.

Many people have been burned by Jehu. He even messed up a group buy where like alot people lost ALOT of money...

My experience with Jag35 has been terrible, I will never buy anything from that website anymore.

Gross misrepresentations, dangerous products.
