Was thinking about building a side car that is large enough to carry an adult. Haven't found any for sale commercially. Seems they are all custom made. Any suggestions or plans?

Yeah, I already saw all those. None are meant to carry an adult. I'm looking for a side car design long enough to carry an adult comfortably. And with a 26" wheel, preferably.

Did you check out any of the sidecar threads on ES?

This one has pics of one that might do what you want

and it's maker tells how to find the info on making it.

Anotehr poster on that thread has himself another thread on his sidecar that also might qualify.

As for the sidecars that are not large enough for an adult...you do realize all you have to do is scale it up?

Guess it all depends on what you think is big enough for adult. After WWII the British didn't find them big enough, but they were more common than cars for decades. If you see plans that aren't big enough to suit you, just make them bigger.
