In need of a motor & motor controller

Hi all,
So I'm building an e-bike, and I have everything planned out except the motor. The end goal would be being able to ride this thing on the highway (max speed of 70-80 mph). The total weight would most likely be 230-240 lbs (rider and bike together). All I need is a motor controller and a motor that can run on atleast 60V 1000W. The motor, preferably one as small as possible while still achieving my needs, must be within the dimensions of 4.5" x 5.5" x 6.5" or a hub motor that can fit a 14" tire. I also need a motor controller for that motor.

Is this a motor bike or based on a bicycle?
You'll need 7ish kw (ottomh) to reach 130kph (on a bicycle, if you wanted do that!) so you are never goings-on achieve this on a 1000w motor. It'll be more on a motorbike /scooter. Also your dimensions for a motor are pretty tight... Don't know if you'll fit a suitable motor in that.
As for hubs. .. Go for a 5000w or bigger.
You'll need some serious power in your controller, something that can pump out 12kw or so, so it doesn't get hot and die. At 60v thats 200amps....several controllers can do that.
And then you'll need a battery.... A really big battery!

Yes, this is more of a e-motorbike. I should've specified, my bad.
Do you think either of these could do the trick? Why or why not?
I did a quick search, and some of the people here seem to like QSMotors, but haven't heard a word about the other two.

Those shkitty unite motors are tin can pieces of crap. Forget them. They will last aprox 3secs at anything like the power you want. If you want a mid mount motor you are going to have to look at very high quality motors to fit in the space you have. They will be pricey.
Qs make motors that many here have used (I haven't) and they seem good.
You really need to start working out your basics like power required (combo of speed weight drag etc) , desired range, budget...snd all the other important bits and pieces for example (just one example) the operating voltage of your system. Some useful calculating tools are easily found online.
Then work out some stuff in a logical order... Such as:
Choose stock bike to convert, will give you...
Power required, (use calculators) then
Choose motor
Choose controller
Choose battery (based on wh/km x range) I'm tipping a 3kwh+ battery is something like what you'll need.
Once you have all this (including what sort of bike you intend on building up) then start asking the forum questions, otherwise it's like stabbing in the dark
Then the hard ( but fun and expensive) part starts, building.
For a bike that can do up to 130km/h, with a range of ~ 50kms (not at 130ks), safely and reliably, I would consider 8 grand (aud) would be a starting price.
Also start reading build threads here on bikes of similar calibre, see what sort of project you are undertaking.

80mph is going to require a massive amount of power. The motor simulator on the Grin web site is a great tool for estimating power requirements. Play with it: https://www.ebikes.ca/tools/simulator.html

My Sur-ron goes about 40mph and takes about 4kW to get that speed.

Here is a graph that gives you an idea:
Motor Power vs Speed.JPG

So you're looking at around 12kW to reach 70mph. 80mph is off the chart. And that does not include drive train losses.

Here is another member's project that sort of comes close to what you're describing.

Sustaining 80 mph is unrealistic unless you use a low drag fairing or accept a rather short range. You will also need a very large battery unless your vehicle looks like this:

Hmm I was out in my guesstimate by 5+kw...and not in LL's favour... :( yeah fairings are the way to go for that speed. Do standard road motorbike fairings make much difference over an unfaired motorbike? Or are they mostly for looks?
