VESC Vedder for 'big' Hub Motor

Hi,
I am wondering is there anyone thought perhaps tried to run direct drive Hub motor like QS or Mxus with Vesc type controller ?

Would it be difficult/expensive to manufacture vesc to run 300-450 amps but low volts?

Ideas anyone?

There are some discussions, dunno how high a current or how low a voltage.
