Need to enhance torque and top speed of my Merida Hybrid BBSHD 1000W conversion. I need some suggestions of external controllers and their suggested batteries. I have only read briefly little about BAC800 and phaserunner but still dont have much understanding of what is a good idea, safe, fast and whats hazardous. All suggestion/explainations are requested.

Phaserunner is a Grin-enhanced ASI BAC800, excellent choice with CAv3, go up to 72V and 50A.

Battery depends on many factors including weight, space available, terrain vs range needed.

Thanks.

Do you know what the difference is between the ERT ASI BAC 800 and the GrinTech Phaserunner? Phaserunner is like half the size, is this a later version just different customised parameters? There are 3 options to choose from on the Phaserunner site: Phaserunner_L10, Phaserunner_MT and Phaserunner_MT_BK. Do you know what the differences in these are, or is it just the different connections they use?

Cheers

MT is standard, BK is black.
