Just bought a Kelly KAC7275H controller to use with my Renault Twizy motor but the problems is that I don't know important motor data like number of poles and Encoder type (A/B quadrature, Hall, Sin/Cos or Line hall). The motor plate doesn't help me.

Does anyone knows?

Thanks!

Well since the motor is already open you can just count the poles.
You can probably figure the encoder out by looking at the wires, or shoot these guys an email.

Hi I can offer more data here:
https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=241&hilit=Letrika+twizzy&start=10#p4497

Encoder is AB reluctance type. Are there 4 wires in its connector? I think it counts 64 ppr.
Motor is made in Slovenia and was used in a lot of surprisingly large cars here. With 130V and Curtis controller it could make up to 40kw!

I can provide some more data if you need it.

Hi,
do you can support me with some settings for the GEN4 for this motor?

best regards, Michael

I have the same motor and controller. Is there any success in the matching front? What are the crucial parameters that can make it work?
