860C with OSF

I just installed a 860C display and I am unable to open the MENU. I have been trying 2 quick presses and a lot of different combinations of the MENU push button.
It's a TSDZ2 with OSF 1.1.0 installed and the 860C was purchased with 1.1.0 pre installed. The display comes on and seems to display speed and different functions but I am unable to change the settings.

“ Enter configurations screen: simultaneous ON/OFF, UP and DOWN, long press”

That works but the timing is very critical. As suggested by Eco-cycles pressing the Power first, for a quick press, and than holding the + & - with power is more consistent in opening the setup menu.
