Hi all,

For a custom project, I have a hub motor + G-BLDC07H7 that I need to drive from software land. Unfortunately, all I have is the controller and the cables but no associated info. I have no Chinese language skill to even dare to Baidu it.

So far my understanding is these E-Bike controllers are fairly standard and comes with a similar interface.

But as an outsider of this domain - I would like to be a bit more confident and love to have info that is particular to this controller. I have attached a pic.

So if someone has worked with this controller before or point me to materials that are close to this controller that will be great!

If not I will take pointers to a link that nicely shows a diagram or two to explain its wires so that I can interface with my microcontroller.

Regards,

Moh

Never seen one like that before, other than some of the Sevcons (but those have to be specifically programmed for the motor they are being used with).

A quick google finds some pages wiht it for sale, in Chinese, and a google translation, bad as it is, indicates that's not really an ebike controller, it's for bigger stuff, like motorcycles and tiny cars (like Sevcons).

At a guess, the large connector with lots of pins is all the auxiliary (non-power) connections to the vehicle, and the round small connector is for programming or perhaps a display interface (taht may also be programming). Might just be a serial port, might be something that (like Sevcon) requires custom hardware to connect to it; either way it'd require their specific software to access it.

But without knowing what pins are for what, you don't know what goes where, or even which things have to be hooked up and which don't. :(

I would recommend checking with the place you bought it from for a manual, or finding the manufacturer (perhaps the seller could tell you who that is). Maybe one of the other places that sells them can get you the manual and software. Without that...you can't really use it. :(
