I've posted in the past about Linear Labs HET motor. I few times I misremembered the acronym and called it the HIT motor but it is really the Hunstable Electric Turbine.

https://linearlabsinc.com/

It uses a 3D flux tunnel design and features both dual axial flux and dual radial flux rotors tied together around one stator, meaning it is effectively four motors working as one.
The company describes it like this:

"The HET’s circumferential three-dimensional magnetic architecture yields a 3D flux path and produces four active torque producing areas with all sides having the same polarity. As much as 30% of the typical copper needed is reduced by eliminating end windings and having all the copper involved in torque production. The architecture of the HET ensures all magnetic and electrical fields are fully involved in torque production."

Well that's nice but show me you're not a niche player with niche tech...

Yesterday Road and Track dropped two new 3D flux tunnel style motors on us with some impressive specs... tiny and torquey

I would love to see a a flux tunnel middrive ebike motor, or a vespa scooter style motor.

I’d like a three times more torque for same input power motor. Pleeeease?

I wish it was true.
