Trying to connect the following systems on a single DIY escooter

system 1
- battery 20s8p Sanyo GA 18650
- common port 300amp discharge, 50amp charge bms
- Controller fardriver nd72360
- Motor LY 11 inch 3000w hub motor

system 2
- battery 20s8p LG mj1 18650
- bms duplicate of above
- Controller duplicate of above
- Motor duplicate of above

X1 Throttle, 3 wire thumb throttle (hall effect sensor)

Instinct is to common ground the batteries and wire throttle (red, black and green) to system 1 and parallel only (green) to system 2.

Would this work? or would the 72v packs attempt to balance through signal wire?

I did a similar setup and the only thing I had to do was make sure the systems shared a common ground. Without a common ground I would have weird throttle response or no response from the slave controller. Ran a common thin ground wire off the discharge wires and the throttle has been working fine for a few years. I couldn’t find anything that mentioned sharing a ground back then but it makes sense after you think about it.
