Hello, I am new to scootering and I am reviving a used Razor E300 . I have a problem with the scooter tripping the 20 amp circuit breaker :( . I replaced that one and it still trips ....so I determined the motor was bad and replaced with a new brushed 250 watt motor and new breaker tripped again( scooter would start and on load just die aftre a minute or 2?
I belie
So I would like to replace with a 36 volt controller and variable throttle.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

You can get some pretty cheap 36v brushed controllers on amazon as well as very cheap thumb or half twist (or full twist if you are into that).

Electricscooterparts.com has various options that should be plug and play for the E300.

Did you test up to full throttle with the wheel off the ground to see if you still get it to cut out? It will pull far less amps with no rider on the scooter. May have to chase down a short from a frayed connection or bad insulation if that is the case.

Great thanks MorbidyOK, i appreciate your help:) I will check that out.
Cheers

I did just that.
New controller . Throttle and lithium battery.
Here is my shipping list
Controller:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07PVNVFWW?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Throttle:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09M7BBB4D?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Or

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07YPQLMR4?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I got both throttle on 2 different scooter.
I like thumb and my daughter like twist.

The connector on throttle is not direct fit so either cut and join. Or buy correct connectors.

I just pull the link off my shopping history. There might be cheaper options

Cheers
