Hi guys,

I am completely new at this, a couple of weeks ago i bought a unused/unmounted "Alien 150Amp 4.4Kw twin system" on Tradera(Swedish ebay), to build a eboard. The guy who sold it said it was just plug and play and if I had any questions i should contact him.
I have contacted him but got no answers what so ever.

Long story short, I'm turning to you for help. i've attached pictures on the setup.

My background in RC: None what so ever, so please bear with me. I've tried googling to find a simple guide, no luck.
Can you please help me connect this together?

I think i've figured out how the charger worked, there are som nice tutorials on youtube

If' i posted in the wrong section please move the thread,

Kind regards,

Hello, welcome to the forum. aliendrivesyetems does have a series of instructional videos on how to mount the motors to the trucks, here is a link to this. https://www.aliendrivesystems.com/precision-caliber-bracket-fitting.html. Here is a wiring diagram for it https://www.aliendrivesystems.com/wiring-diagrams.html. It is just plug and play really. Connect everything to the esc and mount the motor and your good to go.

Well, except the battery you are with Alien Drive or Power stuff which means top notch quality.

Build is pretty easy if you look the video provided :D Most time you will spent on arranging to make the look sleak :D

Thanks! That diagram is really helpfull for me :)
I've read somewhere I have to connect the esc to the computer and upload some firmware? Is that not necessary?

I've attached a pic where I've tried to copy the diagram with the hardware :)

Can you please confirm that I've made it correct? I'm just worried I'll do something that might fry the esc or something, the toys weren't exactly cheap :p

I also have a question regarding the connector for charging the batteries, and please remember that I'm completely green at this :)
As I want to be able to parallel charge the batteries, without removing them from the board; Where in the circuit/diagram do I put the connectors for the charger?

Each battery have (if I understand it correctly) one 4S balance connector and one 3S balance connector, which do I use?

Thanks for your time,

hey, you have to connect both ESC cables (because it's dual motor) to upload the appropriate ESC firmware (or just to check the correct one is installed) on each and configure it accordingly to your configuration (same on both). This is easy but don't mess-up on the firmware (double check letter after letter) as you could damage the ESC.

I would also add a alien power switch to your configuration... and later on a wattmeter (between the battery and the power switch) :D

Great, think I'm getting the hang of it now. Do you know if there is any drivers for Mac to upload the firmware to the ESC? I've only found Windows:
