i Have an old e300 that i haven't used in years. so i want to upgrade it to go around 25mph with a good amount of torque. Im 270lbs to its gonna need some decent power.

I want to put a front hub motor on it but and as far as I can see the front dropouts are 115mm so would this motor work?

I also want to know if I should go with lithium ion or lipo. If lipo then how would I hook it up? [haven't used those types of batteries].

If the motor doesn't fit what motor should I get and how would I fix up the back tire so it doesnt hamper the experience i.e weight and the brakes. Thanks Ahead of time

I have a scooter [razor e300] with a 115mm front dropout and i found this motor

seller says it will fit but i Want to make sure. Also since its a razor e300 how could i outfit the back wheel with a disk brake since I read the band brake heats up quick and wont be as reliable

I'm trying something similar. I'm surprised how in active all the forms are on this topic. If this was a bicycle upgrade or something, there's a dozen forums that would have a knowledgeable reply back within the hour.
The confusing part is the controllers. A lot of them are lacking information about things like low-voltage cut off, over discharge protection, charging, etc.
That link you showed, the controller doesn’t appear to have any throttle input.

Did you ever get the motor and fit it?

I am about to do something similar with a 500w 48v motor and think I have a solution but to fit the axle/spindle, will need to dremel/hacksaw/file dropouts in the forks and cut out a section to slot it in. Bloody through holes!

Not sure if that means the fork strength integrity is compromised too much but I do know a welder, who will be able to help strengthen it all if needs be. Or I'll fashion torque arms.
