Has anyone taken apart GoTrax GXL battery ? It has a 5-pin interface, two seem to be the actual power, curious about the other 3.

actually there are 5 pinouts at the top and then 3 more at the bottom. Seems to me some of the pins are just used to send signals from controller to the motor and to power the controller itself. I would guess the bottom 3 pins are where the output to the motor is.

I confirmed this by doing a continuity test on the battery back, first two wires are power, the last 3 are the phase wires going to the motor. Also took a look at the esc, here are a few pictures. The esc looks decent, traces are large and soldering is pretty good, as usual with chinese imports the board had to be cleaned up because it had resin all over and they skimped on the heatsink compound so I went ahead and added some more. Also, most of the screws holding the bms in place were pretty loose so I added loctite and tightened everything down. Also took a picture of the led and driver board. I'm tempted to hook up a serial reader to the rxd and txd ports and sniff around, but i do not have the time for this nor am i skilled enough to do much more than read some of the data.
