How can I get 110ac from a ZENN runs at 69-80v dc

I can’t find an invertor that converts 70-80 volt dc to 110 ac. Lots of units that do 12-48v dc.


I need to run a snall boiler and the associated pump that supplies radiant radiators for a small house.

I’m cold due to a power outage 4th day.

Ok, so my feeble mind just realized that this is a Zenn Auto. Please disregard the comments below. Connecting a battery to the inputs of a charge controller will cause damage to the controller, and I don't know of a DC-DC buck converter that can handle large amounts of power.


Knowing the DC source and the amount of power it provides would be very useful in working out a solution.

For example a DC-DC buck converter could be used if power level is low, like maybe less than 1000W.

You could connect your dc source to an MPPT charge controller like the Midnite Classic or Schneider MPPT60-150 or even an Outback FM80. They can take up to 150V at 60A and turn it into just about anything else. You would likely have to connect the charge controller to a 12 or 24V battery and then connect the inverter to that.

I think the MPP Solar GK series inverters will take your DC source and convert it to AC without batteries and without a charge controller (just depends on what the DC source is). The MPP inverters will only output 240V, so you would need a transformer (there's always something isn't there?). Here is a link to MPP GK info https://www.mppsolar.com/v3/pip-gk-series/

Any little simple space heater that uses an AC/DC motor for its fan should work on 70-90VDC, just at a lower maximum output. If you have one of those, try it. At least all the energy you use will turn into heat right where you want it.
 
Change of plans. I am now planning on using inexpensive EVs for DIY powerwalls. I think the cheapest way to do DC to AC conversion is to use 12v DC to 110v AC inverters.

So now I need a recommendation for an affordable 72-96v DC to 12v DC converter.


I can use the ZENNs 12 v dc output if its sufficient.

I’m currently planning to buy either one or two 50amp 70-80v to 12v dc/dc converters from thunderstruck motors for $125 each. If I need more than 50a they can be run in parallel. I’ll use them with 12v to 110v inverters which are available for affordable prices.

I’m planning to have thunderstruck install the converters because I can’t do anything.
