How to connect 2 PV strings

I have 6 panels total identical. I want to create 2 strings of 3 pvs.
3 pvs string 1 90vdc
3 pvs string 2 90vdc

I dont want the current from string 1 to go into string 2. Or string 2 into string 1.

2 strings 1 single cable to the charge controller.

So how to avoid the current flow between strings? Maybe with a diode of which type? Schotchy?
Each panel should produce 8.5 amps 24v

Thanks in advance.

There should be a diode already installed on the panels, check for a black box under the panel.

At least with my panels, you can connect two series in parallel without doing anything special. Connecting 3 or more in parallel you need to fuse each series.

Combiner Box

My understanding with PV panels is that a series string can be paralleled with another series string, and the combined output can be fed into an MPPT controller.

But if you were to add a third one in parallel, a fuse is required on all series strings. Diodes aren't exactly necessary because panels have their own blocking diodes, however they are only rated for the output current of that panel (5-11 amps). I found a good diagram I'll try and dig up...
