Can you daisy-chain different sized solar panels together?

As the title goes, I have a bunch of little Monocrystalline panels I got for nothing and I could build them into a little array. To get a semi-decent charging voltage- if I put them into series I can JUST charge a 36 volt battery- can I jack 3 of them into series to increase the voltage, THEN connect to an MPPT? Or do I have to wire them all individually to the MPPT controller to fix the voltage properly?

This is a good read, I got a lot out of it.

Thanks man! Actually answered my question perfectly; I'm kinda bummed because it shows it's a worse idea than I even thought, but it is DOABLE.
The panel's aren't large and I don't think even the biggest makes more than 30 watts, so I might not be loosing out much. Hmmm...
