I wanna use a 24V motor to charge a car battery. Can I use a solar charge controller?

Sort of. You can use a PWM (NOT an MPPT) charge controller if the stall current of the generator is not higher than the current handling capability of the charge controller, and voltage at the highest unloaded speed is below the voltage limit of the controller. But it would be silly to do so, because:

1) If you can regulate the speed of the generator you should just do that instead. Constant speed = constant voltage.

2) If you can't regulate the speed of the generator, it will tend to run away when the PWM controller opens the circuit and the generator sees zero load.

Yes, it is. I cant quite figure out the alternator, but I'm playing with it. Now I'm trying a motor.

All I want to do is make a simple bike generator. Does anyone know an easy setup?

There's a few instructables and other pages in a google search of "simple bike generator"--do any of them help?

There are also threads:
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/search.php?keywords=bike+generator&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=titleonly&sr=topics&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

Using "bicycle" instead of "bike" in the above searches finds other stuff that might help.

After you look thru those, If they aren't what you're after, perhaps post a complete list of the specifics of exactly what you want it to do, and what you have available that you'd like to use for it, and someone can help you figure out if you can do it without buying other things, and/or what you would ahve to buy to do it.
