looking for someone with electronics experience that can give me ideas on which sections to check for this controller. It was working normally suddenly I noticed it was not charging the battery, no lights and its twin charger was working as expected .

after inspecting internally fuses were blown, replaced , tested , blown again.

I would like to start checking it for short circuits, wonder if someone has the diagram or ideas where to start checking.

thank you

Since there is a short circuit according to the title of the thread, then that's the first place to look for bad parts. Keep measuring wherever you found the short, and start removing parts until it goes away. That's probably the shorted part.

Other than that, you can follow this chain:
--whcih end are the fuses blown on? Input or output?

--If it's the output, then something beyond that point has to be shorted, like in the output cables or connectors, or the load it's connected to.

--if it's the input, then it's probably in the input half of the unit, before the switching transformer.

THe most common parts to fail shorted are FETs, so you can visually examine all FETs in the unit, since they often blow out their guts and crack their cases when they fail this way.

Thank you,

My plan is to check the component observed just above the internal fuses
