I bought a Savage on controller supposed to be 80 amps but in the settings it'll only go to 50 amps so is that making a 50 amp controller and not 80 amp controller

Some vendors simplify inventory by software crippling cheaper units, unlocked are more expensive.

And some simplify inventory by making up specifications that will sell more units and posting that as various ads, but also selling the same thing as it's "real" numbers in other ads. ;)
