Mystery electronic component - BBSHD Controller

It's a bit difficult with only the top view but it looks like an smd inductor.
So it's basically a ferrite core (which is brittle) with some windings on it.
You might be able to find replacements on electronic component webshops, but besides it's value they also have a maximum allowed current and an optimal operating frequency.
(Depending upon the type of ferrite used.)
They are often used in step down converters. If you have a step down integrated circuit nearby, it's datasheet usually shows some 'use examples' and the inductors that can be used. Most of the time, such reference design is used.
