I have a TSDZ2 with OS firmware and an 860 display. I have hall (magnetic) sensor cables to install. I don't see any indicator for brake status in order to install the sensors at the ideal distance from the magnets... seems like a glaring omition for the software since every other guide for software mentions looking at the brake indicator to install. It's not an option for the status display and not under the technical menu in settings although it lists the number of sensors as well as the throttle position data.

Yes I know everyone says you don't need the sensors so why bother? (Which is insulting and obvious.) I want to try it out.

Some OSF versions show the brake signal on the display, but for some reason in the newest version v20.1 it is not shown, but might be fixed at some point. Anyway, with a multimeter you can use the continuity test with leads attached to the brake sensor wires or connector, usually there's audible output for this as well so it's quite convenient.
