Dear group,
I installed a Tongsheng tsdz2 with the 860c controller from electrify bikes. Motor and controller where working great for a while. The other day while riding the motor suddenly gave out. I felt the housing and it was warm but we were just riding uphill on a snowpacked trail and only a few miles into the ride. The controller powers up and I can flip through the various assist levels but neither the throttle or pedal assist works. I just opened up the motor cover and there was a little bit of oily yellow fluid in the case. Not sure what the problem is but any suggestions on troubleshooting would be great.So just a few more pieces of information, I have tried it on walk mode and nothing happens, and there is an odor now that the cover is off.
