I have a GMAC 10T and was wondering if anyone has been able to tear down the freehub on these motors to service the paws, bearings etc. Also does anyone know what type of freehub it is?
I have the 8T. I haven't torn it apart. But I did ask Grin about the bearings, and their reply was that the two right side bearings were integrated into the freehub, and did I want to buy one?
Their pages for the motor lists:
Bearings:
Cassette side 69020 (inner), 6901D (outer)
Brake side 68040
That's not the answer, but I've found they are good about answering questions, so I suggest you ask - info@ebikes.ca
Also, perhaps your LBS can identify the freehub?
I'd like to know as well. FYI, they don't show the gears in the catalog, but they did sell me a spare set, in case you're interested in that.
Hi, I need to replace the free-wheel of my GMAC. But I have never done it on a rear hub motor. Does anybody know how to proceed, and what are the tools needed ? Thanks !
