Hello from Brown University! EV Charging Infrastructure Survey

The EV charging infrastructure currently is not developed enough on a regional scale. If you live in California and you do not own a Tesla and you need to charge your EV where do you go to charge, even for a small fee. I live in Colorado and to my knowledge we have no charging stations where I live (Southern Colorado). The only way to get a charge on the road is to call AAA and hope they are near by to make a "service call". I am not even sure that AAA provides a charging Service nationwide. It seems to me that an EV should be able to travel about 600 mi. (average driving distance per day) with your family and be able to charge in a few hours at your hotel/motel and then continue your travels the next day.

EV's are a good idea but more emphasis is needed developing the charging stations through private enterprise; not through the State and thereby raising taxes for people who will never use that service.
