I have an Em3ev bag and while its a wonderful bag, It leaves quite a bit of unused battery storage space in my XL frame.

I was looking into custom triangle bags and found Uraltour (not a shill, I promise):

Are there any other options for large or custom triangle bags that are known to be decent quality?

Ask the local shoemaker shop. Bring a drawing and eventually, the material. Other shops that have the tooling and experience are upholstery, and maybe awnings/tent repair. Then you can have exactly what you need, either a size mod to your bag or or a new one to your spec. You can add pockets for rigid inserts protections if you want, and the type of closing/mounting that you prefer.

Quality cycling frame bags manufacturers sometimes accept size mods to the bags they already make, but this might be long to ship, and expansive.

In any case, a custom frame bag is much more time and money than a Chinese standard that is sold online, even when you do it yourself.

For a leather bag perhaps, not sure they'd do fabric like an Alterations store would do.

It’s been a long time since all shoes and boots were leather. My last visit to the local shoemaker was to repair a motorcycle backpack that is made of rubber and microfibre canvas. He did a very neat repair after crash damage, and even replaced the zipper with a better one.
