Hi, I don't speak English very well, so there will be more photos and less bla-bla-bla ))

Thanks!

Is 1500w direct drive hub motor (35mm magnet width). Reduction 1:2 and no overheating for 5.5kw (I can't get more power, the limit is in the controller)
controller Nucular 6 fet
battery 20s9p from cheapest 18650 liitokala 2600, about 1700Wh and 9kg. Max battery current about 45-55A at 84V

That’s a nutty video. I guess you know you can outrun most anything. In there USA I’d be scared to get hurt or hurt someone and the lawsuit that would follow.

Google translate to Russian below...

Это сумасшедшее видео. Я думаю, ты знаешь, что можешь обогнать почти все. Там, в США, я бы боялся получить травму или причинить вред кому-то и судебному процессу, который за этим последовал бы.

only illegal if you get caught

nice skills and workmanship

Awesome thread, beautiful pictures, excellent build! Really turned out nice! :thumb: :thumb: :bigthumb:

Thanks!

For the next projects I'am looking inrunner motor as alternative to the hub motor. I need a flat and narrow inrunner motor with low kV and high torque. Like a gold motor from the photos, maybe someone knows similar motors are?

Intersting stuff and amazing metalworking skills. Which alloys are you using ? Any heat treatment planned ?

I use aluminum and 5% magnesium alloy, the european name is AMg5, in the west - the 5056 series.
Deformation alloy 5xxx does not require thermal quenching and aging
This is good for frame construction, but too soft for dropouts and clamps - steel amplifier required

Very interesting - thanks for the info. I ve seen 5xxx alu, and its a pain to weld. Impressive stuff you did with it.

The optimal settings for welding 5056 alloy at 60-70 amperes for a thickness of 2 mm and 120 Hz with metal preheating were found. There are about 30 units on the balance (some units differ on different devices)
