My first build from June, 2020 - June 2021.
Donor bike is a Gravity Deadeye 29er from BikesDirect.com, a single-speed, fully rigid frame with open, horizontal rear dropouts perfect for an IGH.

Ordered a custom wheelset from UniversalCycles (running 27.5x3, but will probably swap to 2.6" tires when these wear out) with Stan's rims and a Sturmey Archer RS-RK3 IGH, but couldn't tolerate the horrible rotary shifter, so replaced it with this unit. Ended up uninstalling the throttle. Never used it, but did hit it a few times accidentally when moving the bike around. No, thanks!

And added some DYEDBRO/Sergio Layos frame protection. Subtle on the dark frame, but the lightning bolts tickle me.

Also added 175lb test zip ties as a little extra support for the BBSHD.

Then got a screaming deal from Hayes/Manitou on a Mattoc to replace the rigid fork. Picked up a TranX Kitsuma dropper, too. Head tube angle slackened from 67 degrees to 64.5 (sadly, this also set the seat tube angle back to around 72 degrees, but it seems to ride okay). RNS frame bag contains a custom shrink-wrap triangle battery: 52v 18Ah with 30Q cells.

And, finally, won a brilliant set of Hayes Dominion A2 brakes from Pinkbike Win it Wednesday to finish it off.
