Pure fun.

Ripping up the streets at 10Kw feels like a gokart.

Got new air shocks for the front suspension.

Those rims are a thing of beauty. How much would you charge to do custom rim jobs?

That aside, this thing is perfect for random acts of jackassery and hooning. I can learn a lot from your build, as I do want to make mine suitable for that application. Did you ever time the acceleration? The launch is impressive.

Looks great. I take exception to high-jacking the name of LFP's ebike though, especially since you'd need to up the power 5-10X before calling it "Death Trike".

Are you baiting him to actually try it?

It can be done...

Even if that is never attempted, the trike still is impressive as it is now, and potentially very dangerous to operate. LFP's build notwithstanding, that by itself makes it fitting of the name "Death Trike", IMO.

0-40mph is around 4.5 seconds.

And yeah its tons of fun, I'm using Pro-wheel 14" Dirt bike rims!

Compare your 0-40 mph time to the following police vehicles as tested at the Chrysler Corporation Chelsea Proving Grounds:

Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 4.6L w/3.27 rear end: 4.35 seconds
Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 4.6L w/3.27 rear end: 4.28 seconds
Dodge Charger 3.5L: 4.74 seconds
Dodge Charger 5.7L: 3.50 seconds
Chevrolet Impala 9C1 3.9L: 4.32 seconds
Chevrolet Tahoe: 4.41 seconds

Judging from the videos, your launch is much more violent than any of the above though. What's your 0-10, 20, and 30 times? I would hazard a guess that 0-20 mph would beat many $100,000+ sports cars.

If you want to make it go insanely fast, try to fit a Lynch Motor and a Lonestar pack onto it. Don't kill yourself.

It might be faster than 4.5sec to 0-40mph I have no idea. Quite frankly I don't any more power, I'm already scared shitless as it is!

Excellent work there!! deffo makes me want to get a kmx build together. What is the approx diameter of your rear wheel with tyre? I guess 100v would be a bit exciting speed wise! How are you finding the stability when things get going with the suspension mod and which model of air shocks are you using?

This is a mini polaris slingshot!

Is this build still in commission? Any planned upgrades? More videos? Stories involving your use of it? Reliability/maintenance issues? Anything to share?

I really love your build. The video of you out-accelerating the Honda at the stoplight is one of my favorites. It looks like a crap load of fun.

I'm in the process of turning my build into something like this. I have a truing stand and am about to build some light-duty motorcycle rims to a spare set of KMX hubs. Any advice? You can find a link to my electric KMX build in my signature.
