Super clean and purposeful. I bet it's a blast to ride. Looking back on the build can you think of any lessons learned or changes you would make?

Hey Guys

Here is picture how battery is done
2M7A0191.jpg

13 s 7p battery from old laptops

case is made from the aluminium sheet 2 mm think and 8.5 cm wide

going around that space that I had there

mounting in on the bottom in via 4 mm screw on the frame ( existing holes for water bottle in the bike)

to protect battery from touching aluminium case I puted inside and around the case 8 mm line from the shop

so battery is sitting nicely and also there is a small channel in the middle for better cooling

8 mm line works perfect

I used velcro to secure battery inside

Is very easy also to take out bat from the case

closing panels made from 2 mm mouting board

I use electrical insulation tape to keep this case closed

is rain proof :)

@Rube

yes
1 :

I would change my bms that is charging now each cell to 4,2 V to bms with adjustable charging voltage for ex: 4,1 or 4,15 V
that will make more cycles on my battery

As You can see there is still bit of space in there so I keep that for new bms or usb dc dc etc etc

I see on the banggood there is few bms chargers with adjustable charging voltage but they are soo big and wont fit in there

I like when everything is bulid into one case

2:

I would like to have new 18650 cells with better capacity and draw current

3:

In the future I would like to put there cooling fan ( small one inside the case ) with the termometer

so I would like to keep the same temp for the cells when riding

I have solder another the same shape battery but 13,5 AH

so when one is flat is easy to swap them

I think that is at the moment

Thanks for the comment Guys
