Kls7230s

Hi everyone. My name is aj i have kls7230s kelly controller. I am haveing trouble connecting the controller to my phone . it is not finding my phone . i tried the rs232 cable and i get a message on my computer. Can't connect to controller! Please check 1:controller is powered through PWR
2:rs232 cable is pluged in properly. Can someone help me
