re-erecting a "hot rod" I constructed several years ago and upgrading the motor and battery.
HAD a cyclone 24v 500 watt electric motor with a home build freewheel differential.
Purchased a 1800w 4500 rpm motor and a differential off of an MTD lawn mower.
The differential has 13.5 to 1 ratio and driving it from the motor 13 to 1 ratio (ending ratio around 26 to 1 ratio). I need to recount drive sprockets but 26 to 1 is close.
The drive wheels are 26" fat tires (29" diameter)
Hopefully this will work.
The 500 w motor would drain the battery too fast(not enough POWER)
desired max speed is 15mph and hopefully the motor won't get overworked.
using same motor as Edstreetrunner is using.

this pic is several years old showing peddles etc. which are being removed
any suggestions?
