Decided to make better use of my ebike battery by strapping it to a corded electric snow blower. Since I run 25s lipo, I figured this would be a simple conversion. After ordering a Snow Joe 625E for $210 shipped from Home Depot, I made an adapter to get from the standard blower plug to the battery. Very easy. Took about 45 minutes and worked the first time, woot! I still can run the blower with an extension cord, but the 100 foot good cords for all-weather use can be $150. Now I just need some snow to test it out. No more gas/oil/loud noise!

Hi,

I'm going to try the same but I am a total newbie. Basically I don't have any clue about the electronics part at this point. Could you elaborate it a little bit more and tell me what items I need? Like brand names and specs maybe. Is that battery 120v for example or do I need more batteries connected together?

Thanks in advance!

Battery is 25s, and still powers the SnowJoe brand corded snowblower.
