I'm putting together a bike based on the TSDZ2 and need a battery to go along with it. This bike is basically just to get downtown and back, so I want a cheap, low capacity battery. I'm happy with anything over 7.5Ah that will source 750W. But I also want to be sure it won't burn my house down; last time I researched this, it seemed like my options were Luna or EM3EV for their cell-level fusing, or a LiFePO4 battery. The battery should also have a BMS.
I haven't had any luck searching for new batteries; most vendors seem to be more interested in higher capacities, which comes with a hefty price. So I figure I'll try the used market. Please let me know if you have something that would fit the bill, or advice on where I can buy a new battery that meets my specs. Thanks!
