The Hobby King 6s 5,200's are treated very well and they have lasted a long time without balancing, Slowly charge them with a Constant Voltage charger to just under 4.0 V and discharge to 3.8 V and everything is fine!

Nice !

I take mine up to 4.15v full average ( nothing over 4.20.. ever.. ) and down to 3.60v ( resting ) and have balance charge once a year at the start of the season ( fully charging to 4.20v with RC charger, all cells .. then go back to bulk charge )

You have to keep an eye on them, every charge cycle, and once one bad cell shows up, take action.. but otherwise, if you get good packs with no DUD cells from the start, they do fine for the super vigilant among us.
