Vector vortex Ebike build with dirt bike suspension

Looks awesome mate nicely done!!

How is it so heavy though? What components have you used? Wouldn't you rather have it slightly lighter for better power to weight ratio?

Have you tested the max speed and acceleration time BTW?

It is very heavy. Weighed it on a bathroom scale and it read 210lb. I haven’t found this to hinder its performance except for making it hard to move around. The bike still slightly scares me. As of writing this I still have yet to push more than 100 battery amps which is only 50% of its capability. Because of the gearing, this is enough to spin the wheel on (when wet) and off road and power wheelie just fine. The bike was made to be a torque monster as I have no desire to go fast. I think it tops out around 35mph but I haven’t done a real test. I don’t know the best way to test its 0-30 but I’d guess that it is definitely under 2 seconds.

Went for a nice and muddy ride. Looks like I need to print a better fender.

Amazing build!

What rear shock are you using? 1000lb DNM from a pitbike?

You should open a therme explaining your beast! :bigthumb:

Would you please advise where you bought your motor? Are you happy with the motor or would you now choose something else?
