As the Hub Motor Turns and the LiPo Fire Burns. Belt drive e bike conversion. The PROPER CORRECT WAY !!!!!
NO !!!!!!!!
NO !!!!!!!!!!!!
Not if you use a high quality belt and not some cheap shit !
NO WAY !!!!!!!
NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The reason why all the above are NO>
MY solution.
I just need the parts 3D printed. I could spend $300 on a printer and lord knows how much time figuring it all out. Possibly by Christmas I might be able to accomplish it on my own.
I would rather just skip all that time and money and pay $100 bucks or a littlre more to have the wheel and motor sprocket printed out.
Fat chance of that I guess.
Thanks.

I am desperate as sick and tired of chain drives. I know belt is smoother and better and no chain issues with alignment.
Most everyone has recommended that your chain drives were much more trouble than they are worth.
Belt drive will not change that, because it's even more sensitive to setup and alignment than chain.
Sometimes I think LC is doing empirical research to test the hypothesis about persisting in one's folly.
NO !!!!!!!!
So when Defiant LC is on his 500 miles ride and the belt breaks, good luck finding one at the local bicycle shop.
