Can you please tell me if I can use 3 modules 0-140 volts for serial connection? I need about 400 volts to charge the 96S battery.. I am worried that the diode bridge or output transistor may burn out :bolt:

we want to do the same thing, except that I have 225v 54s, the engineer tells me that it can be done with diodes in counterphase
the huawei to be able to reach 120v it takes a hardware modification, the switching frequency must be changed, they sell the kits on taobao, or already modified. so to make 400v you need 4 to 100v.
I believe that if you connect a charger every 24 cells, it is safer

Hi all
I still waiting for some info how to permanently adjust the voltage of my R4850G2 to 50V using the chinese controller received on the meantime.

No info at all was supplied.

I know how to connect the board - but how to permanently adjust the voltage.
I do NOT want to change the curent limit.

Thanks
Charly

Hi friend, could you share the communication protocol for Emerson's PSU?

Thanks. I will try. It's just that when I was looking for an intermediary, none of them answered, and after reading the reviews that most of them communicate only until the moment of money transfer. After that, they may forget about you for a month. I then decided not to mess with them.

I bought there using superbuy.com

Everything was done using their website. Their service plus shipping to Brazil had cost about U$ 25.

I always have a good and fast communication whit
Taobao FOCUS Team
https://tbfocus.com

Taobao FOCUS Support [https://tbfocus.com/support]

but is only the 2e time im buying 2 of those can bus controllers.

1e time at the begin of this year.

Thank you guys again. The last time I ordered what I needed on Alibaba. Luckily it was found there.

Hi all.

I have a 4850G2 here and working. (Programmed via CAN for my voltage and current, which is 54.6 volts and 20 amps.) However I notice that on startup it initially goes to maximum current (~26 amps at 120VAC in) before it backs off to 20 amps after about one second. I am worried that if I connect to 240 volts it will go to 56 amps and fry wiring and batteries.

Has anyone else seen this? Any ways around it? I could build some gadget to gradually ramp voltage up to 54.6 volts over 10 seconds or something but that seems like a lot of work.

The R4850G2 generally overshoots by 5A, it's completely normal. If you disconnect the load and then immediately reconnect it the overshoot decreases. I first thought that it was the output capacitor voltage but it is always by 5A so obviously that isn't the reason. As long as the load is not too sensitive or fused I don't think it is a problem. Maybe someone with more experience can explain exactly why it does this?

Does that suggest that if used at 240 volts it would still overshoot to 25A and not 56 amps? If so that's good news.

Yes.

HI everyone, just made an account, you guys discussed everything very nicely. thank you
I purchased few power supplies (Used ones at 14~15$ each) , searching on YouTube, I found one guy made induction heater power supply with this same power supply and then on google search I came here.

For voltage adjustment and current limit, I purchased that CANbus module from taobao via parcelup (Taobao FOCUS becomes Parcel Up) by following the same process which was shown in YouTube video. and received it in 10 days in Pakistan. total cost 37.4$ for 1 module (psu was 14$ and module 37$ lol)

to connect CAN module and power switch, I added 6 pin JST connector on the free space of PSU.

Voltage adjustment and current limit tested with module. I have noticed few things, one is that PSU works best between 50-55v, other then that, at any voltage PSU fan spins really fast, i don't know why. (without any load)
