Neck ache, chills, headache, loss of appetite, body aches and sporadic dry cough. We’re all sick and I am freezing my……off.

Sorry to hear it...Omicron?

My sister, her husband and two kids have it. I just got tested a few minutes ago. I feel fine at the moment.

0.77" here past 24 hours. It keeps coming. I get a break for a few days then more early next week. All this is very good for the water storage but bad for outdoor activities. Where my son lives in Idaho, New Year Eve will be around zero F. Cold here, but not that cold.

Well, up to 9.44 inches tonight....4.33 inches in 48 hours. To bad most of it flushes down the storm drain system....

And, I was negative on my covid test. :bigthumb:

:D :bolt:

Another 0.9". Season total up to 23.9". Normal entire season total is around 35" and last year was 10.6".
Finally the sun came out. Now I have a bunch of deferred yard work to do. If I'm lucky, I can sneak in a bike ride later.

Back to drought here. No rain out to 10 days in the forecast. We really need more, but we're way ahead of last year.

Dry down here. Thinking about watering the yard. Promises of rain, sleet and a chance of snow. Has now been cold enought for all the vegetation to go into winter mode. The ground does need moisture in it.

An upper level low off the coast is spreading high level
cloudiness across Southern California. This will eventually phase
in with a longwave trough digging south over the Intermountain
West late Tuesday with the upper trough axis passing SoCal
Wednesday morning. The result will be onshore winds and a building
marine layer ahead of the trough through Tuesday night. This could
even result in some light rain along the coast and into the
valleys, especially in San Diego County Tuesday night into early
Wednesday morning. Went with the highest POPs which are GFS MOS to
account for this. 40% chance of light rain in San Diego dropping
to only 10% as you work up the coast into Orange County. Only a
trace to a few hundredths of an inch of rain is expected.
