Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Do you know what bottom bracket I need to fit a 53t?
The BB shouldn't really matter it's the crank spider that determines what you can fit. As mentioned I found it hard to find a larger tooth sprocket with the BCD110 spider I had.
If you are yet to build it up, I suggest looking at other BDC options that have more large sprockets available if you want to go large.

Cheers

Adding to what CD said, the BB width is 68mm, a 53t is huge. I am not sure how much clearance between the BB and frame battery box there is. @CD, I remember you ran a big sprocket on your Alpha build, is there clearance?

You remember correctly. :)

I ran a 60T, but spaced it out with a smaller sprocket next to it.
Here's a few old photo's I managed to dig up:

Dam I miss that bike sometimes!

So definitely a 60t not moved out past the frame's battery compartment won't clear. I am wondering if a 53T would with the chain on without being moved out. Yah CD, you had that bike built up nice and a huge battery. Was a great build.

Done a bit more and with wifes nail polish I had my personal final touch

Need to wake up this thread a tad.
My old trusty Beta from 2015 is getting a total overhaul, we are going matte metallic pine green!
And those are titanium screws.

Looks great Allex!

I'm currently building a beta battery for a fellow ES member. Not the super massive split pack I previously did, but somewhere in-between at 20S7P.

Curious if you'll be doing anything different with the battery on the overhaul?

Cheers
Mate 207P fits in perfect no need to split that's what I'm running.

Yep, that's what I'm doing. Single block 20S7P.

The split pack I was referring to was the one I made a few years back that was 20S9P. Another ES member also made one first which I copied. Last I heard that pack is still going strong. :)

Cheers

Yeah I think if you look after it last while. Mine still going good after 4 years Samsung 30Q

And what do you do if new forks are tapered? You make a new 1 1/8" tube for it!
IMG_5159.jpg

As usual top notch build. How much PSI does your press have to get that tube pressed out?

Alex should work for Stealth he would be asset with his commitment and work over years.

How do find 21700? 175a be nice is 5p a squeeze.

Thx guys, I dont think I ever will sell this bike!

Here is the guy you can get cells from, 5p is perfect fit, but you can do 6p too. I just want to keep the weight down.

Rix, dont remember how much it was, but it is a huge one but I dont think you need a beefy one to press it out.

You won't have to wait too much longer for your battery at least....here it is about 90% complete, getting it's first charge. :)

It's looking good, CD! I think with this battery and Mike's motor, I will end up with a new favourite bike...

Any reason why these forks (or the USD-8's) wouldn't work for the Beta?
