After 5 months this wound findly proved fatal. I found my tire lifeless and flabby in the garage yesterday. I aired it back up, but a couple hours later it was going soft again. I think the bicycle slime worked well in the cooler winter, but it couldn't handle the heat now that it's gotten warmer. What works better is the tubeless tire slime that comes in the gallon jug. It has solid particles in it that the bicycle variety lacks. Of course I needed my bike for a 30 mile communte today, so I had to replace the tube last night. The good news is I've gotten so good at removing the rear wheel it's not nearly the hassle it used to be.
Tire nose ring.jpg

Can't you just fill it up with slime? sure it will add rotational mass  but damn it would last a lot longer.

Next time I change my tire I'm going to take old tire, and cut the sidewalls off, and put it inside the new tire.

You asked for it!!!! This is it!! My ode to Rix. Do you recognize your frame Rix??? My bike is dead so I swapped out all the guts and put them into this frame. The military green does look pretty cool...

My frame shit the bed officially. I will post up pics illustrating how Fed up the frame got. But not to worry its being reborn, custom water cut pieces are being manufactured as we speak that will make my frame way stronger then stock!

I'm going to post up some of the process of swapping because I came across some interesting things during the swap. Our bikes are truly hand made and each one is slightly different. LONG LIVE THE KING!!!!!! (BTW I'm keeping my shock!!!!!)

Well, time for my frame to get a new paint as well. Not as bad ass as RIX color though but it is now officially cleaner than TVs bike

Well looks like I’m hooked on crack… there were cracks everywhere. I scraped some
Of the paint off so you could see them better. Since then I dropped it off at my
Buds custom cars shop and he built some custom water cut pieces that fixed everything making it stronger than stock. I’ll show pics soon enough. Its sooo clean now. More pics to come.

Check out the difference in width of the swingarm where the motor mounts. I had to compress the width to give the motor a nice tight fit.

Job well done! Looks like you wore your toy out…..the rest of us should be so lucky! Congrats!

That does remind me of a super kick ass toy I had….a Drakart Formula Cross. Single seat off road car with 16” of travel at all for corners and a 110 hp ski doo snowmobile motor solid mounted to the frame running a CVT transmission that weighed in at 680 lbs. Crazy fast 12 second quarter mile car on atv tires but being so light it literally shook the frame apart. Almost every tube had a crack where it was welded to something. I installed probably 100 gussets to keep the car from falling apart. Also installed a factory ski doo engine mount with factory rubber motor mounts. I betcha I added 25 lbs of gussets and another 25 lbs in motor mount. It was still fast after that!!! The good ole days.

Look forward to seeing how you bring that one back from the dead!

What ever you do, you will not break the rear seat triangle on the Bomber. When I cracked my original, Stealth made me a special extra thick triangle. I think its north of 2mm thick if my memory serves correctly. Are you the original owner of the the other Bomber? If so, Stealth will repair/replace as it comes with lifetime warranty to the original owner. That said, with all the cracks you posted pics of, I think Stealth would be very interested in seeing that in person.

Yeah wow, that's quite a few cracks. After my experience I'm not entirely surprised, but yeah as Rix said, lifetime warranty. Chase it up!

Cheers

Yep, you know first hand as well. One great thing about using chromoly steel sheet is it never lets go all at once, there are signs and warnings that start off small.

I was gonna ship it out but my bud who builds high end hot rods has all the cool toys and the talent so I let him got to work on it. The results are pretty sick but I still have to put it all together so gimmie a bit. In the mean time…let us gaze upon bomber number 9AF2C2D2-CED8-43B8-9079-BF5540131554.jpeg
