Known to Work Brushless Motor/Controller Wiring Diagrams

It actually works! I am stunned! Bafang to W/E sensorless controller!

B-B
G-Y
Y-G

Throttle as is yours but W/E throttle wire is Red=+5volts
Black= Neg ground]
White=signal
Purple=36 volt for LEDs
Starts right up and about the same growl as the sensored Infineon gives. Works fine!

Motor - Yucheng SWXJ, geared, no freewheel
Controller - ecrazyman 36V 350W

Correct combination:
Phase: Motor  Controller
B  B
G  Y
Y  G
Hall: Motor  Controller
B  B
G  Y
Y  G
Pos  Pos
Neg  Neg

Will run with the wrong combination of all colours matching, but draw high amps, get hot and probably 'let the smoke out' eventually...

MAC Shanghai and E-crazyman Infineon (18FET in this case, but I don't think that matters):

Phase
Blue to Blue
Yellow to Green
Green to Yellow

Hall
Red to red
Black to black
Blue to Blue
Yellow to Green
Green to Yellow

Edit: I had it wrong, it's corrected now. Full-throttle figured it out.

GL1 motor to ecrazyman controller (found this combination on the 13th guess)

(Controller - Motor)

Hall sensors
Blue - Yellow
Green - Blue
Yellow - Green

Motor phases
Blue - Green
Green - Yellow
Yellow - Blue

I used this setup for my Golden Motor with an 18 fet controller. It worked....in reverse:D

Does anyone have a recommendation how I can modify this to reverse the order?

I've tried a bunch of things that would make sense given my understanding but it hasn't quite worked properly going forward yet.

Thanks!

I have an old 408 xlyte motor and want to attatch this to an analogue 36-72v 35amp xlyte controller with different connectors for the motor and hall effects. Since they're both xlyte, will the wire colors match ?

Crystalyte motors using different connectors - yes they will match as long as they all have the same colors to begin with. connect yellow to yellow, green to green and blue to blue.

some of the harnesses using the molded trailer connectors had yellow, white, green wires.those wires will not match correctly. i'll try to find my notes to see if i can find which is which in that case.

thanx rick - yes I have the old trailer hitch connector on the 408. It is a triple connector (2 female, 1 male).

Noob to brushless. Need help.

Using a Kelly KBS48121 and a 750W Ebikekit.com motor.

Can't seem to find a working combo. Anyone have this one?

Thanks

That has a "High pedal protection: Disable operation if power up with non-zero throttle." Sometimes that might cause no combo to work if you have the throttle type wrong. Probably is made or programmed for pot throttle, if using a hall it won't be zero volts output like it would with a pot, even at zero throttle.

Bafang jewel (QSWXK) > Persino PS-CN36V250WNHS Sensorless Controller (14A)

Blue > Blue
Yellow > Green
Green > Yellow

3 wire throttle > Controller

Red > Red
Green > Gray
Black > Black

(Everything else disconnected)

Infineon/ ecrazy man controller to 9 continent motor from Ebikekit.com. Same as the majority of Bafang motors

Power
Blue to blue
Yellow to green
Green to yellow

Phase
Red to red
Black to black
Blue to blue
Yellow to green
Green to yellow

no load current on 18s lipo was right about 1.5 amps. I think I got up to speed, my stand was shaking like crazy from the unbalanced tire

I used this same configuration for a 9C (ebikekit) motor and a Lyen build, Infineon 12 FET controller. Thanks again. Probably has to be my favorite thread on the forum:)

Hi,
First post on a very useful group of Forums, so I should contribute!

Kelly Control KBS48051E  Cyclone 900w Motor.
Hall:
Kelly  Cyclone
Black (ground) Orange.
#5 (5v) should be orange, but mine Yellow  Yellow
#16 Blue  Black
#17 Green  White
#18 Yellow  Red

Phase:
Same Combo as above.

Trying to figure out the wiring: GoldenMotor 1000w Brushless Motor to Infineon EB809XC-A-12 Controller.

I connected all the halls and phase, color to color and I got nothing.

I read that maybe the wires should be like this?

Halls

Infineon---GM
Black >>> Black
Yellow >>>Blue
Blue >>> Yellow
Green >>>Green
Red >>> Red

Phase

Infineon-----GM
Yellow >>> Blue
Blue >>> Yellow
Green >>>Green

Sounds like you hooked the throttle into the programmer cable. There is no white on the infineon throttle input (typically). Where did you get the controller?

Known combo for infineon controller to crystalyte 4 series anybody?

Nobody?

Does anybody know then if the wiring for Crystalite 4 series is the same as for Crystalite 5 series, as we have the wiring for infineon to 5304 on this thread already... (really don't want to dig out the fuses and spreadsheet again!)

ah shite ;) Will post here when I've done it then...

Lyen 12 FET controller to Conhismotor 500w 48v rear wheel hub motor.

Halls
Lyen------CHM

Red-----Red
Black----Black
Blue-----Blue
Green-----Yellow
Yellow-----Green

Phase
Lyen------CHM

Blue-----Blue
Green-----Yellow
Yellow-----Green

motor Crytalyte 504
controller Kelly KBS72101
Matching the colors just made it go backwards
After finding this thread I found this which was the closest to my config. So I matched the phases name (not pin numbers as there different)

It seems to work.
Is there a number of combination that work and only one that works perfectly?
As the motor seems a bit gutless to what I thought it would be. As this is my first e-bike I have no reference of "guts" to motors.
I will reprogram the controller to see if I have limited the current to much or something.

edit
I have since found I had the battery current was set at 20%, so I will test it out latertoday

I would also like to know this. I am experiencing the 'no guts' feeling on my 48v kit. Although free-wheeling it can reach up to 60kph, once i sit and go for a ride, it is embarrassingly slow.
It very well could be my controller setup.
How did you know that your current was set at 20%?

With my controller http://kellycontroller.com/KBShelp.php
I set the motor current to 20% as the controller is 100A and the motor is 20A so 20%
But I also set the battery to 20% where it should be 100%
I have not proved this as I have not had the time to take it for a good spin.
